Over the past few months, we're recieved a lot of emails about the lack of decent shirts - mens casual shirts in particular - this season. It's so difficult nowdays to find a good casual shirt at the right price. The key is finding something different, something that stands out and something that represents your personality - without looking too outlandish. And is seems that more and more often we are seeing that men are buying the same type of shirts over and over again, mainly because they are not being presented with any sort of variety.
There are a couple of simple rules to follow if you're men on the lookout for a casual shirt. Number one - find a casual shirt that fits, and fits well. Know the shape of your body and understand that the shirt should show your contours - but not be skin-tight!
Pick a casual shirt that is a colour that is adaptable. While shopping, keep in mind what you're going to be wearing it with. The less impactful, bright or harsh the colour of the shirt is, the more you are going to be able to wear it with a variety of items. Choose the material. Different materials act differently, and although i have a preference for cotton, you might not. Try on a number of shirts and see how they feel. They will have different elasticity, and you need to pick the casual shirt that is right for you. Remember though, there are many synthetic materials that don't breathe well, and wearing mens casual shirts made out of these for a day can be very uncomfortable.
